Why do we have a Bimota forum and not an MV forum?

Maybe I'm just missing the relationship here but why do we have a forum area for Bimota but not for MV Agusta?

Because unlike MVs, (some) Bimotas have Ducati motors.

Maybe rename Bimota to something like "Other Italian Beauties"... Bimota, Cagiva, MV, etc. Bimota only would have very limited interest. See much more MV content here.

There are a few bikes that uses Ducati´s engine in there own chassie.

The best known of which are Bimota (all DB models and Tesi) and Cagiva (Elephant). Arguably the Cagiva Mito should also be included, since it´s design is directly transfered from the Ducati 916.

As for MV Augusta.. The only crossreference is for the F4 Tamburini designed models, but that isn´t enough. The MV´s are a diffrent bike.

The Aprilia´s are a better choice, since they are Italian sports twins, just like Ducati´s. But I´d hate the forum to become an "all italians welcome" type forum.

There are alot of fine Italian machinary out there. Ducs, Bimota´s, Cagiva´s, MV´s, Moto Guzzi´s, Laverda´s, Aprilia´s and so on. But the fact is that this forum is Ducati.ms and not italianbikes.ms

In the heart of all DB Bimotas and Cagiva Elephants beats a heart made at Via Ducati,
borno pangiale, Bologna, Italy

If an MV forum is added, I will only show those MV owners contempt because I cannot afford to own one. Of course, my kindness can be bought with free rides.

Two years ago we had an MV Forum for 9 months, there was less then 10 post in that time, obviously not worth the time and bandwidth. If there comes to be real demand for it I will add one.
