It definitely exists and far more commonly than the media would have us believe. Well raised and lovely children too.
Not that even a wonderful choice of mates guarantees joy. (Although a poor choice almost certainly assures the opposite) But with respect, love, sacrifice, unselfishness, honesty, openness and sincerity it is definitely within reach.
Work at it and it can be yours. My own grandmother told me that and as was usual, she was right.
Cheers! And congrats for the whenever! ;-)

"Show everything you own italian!"

Well I can't do that in this thread since I have so much from Italy.
For example, I have a huge Mebetoys/Gran Toros toy car collection:
GranToros.com
Keeping in the context of this thread though, here's my prized Italian "Anatra":
This photo shows the custom pearl yellow paint:
Sean at CCR Bike did the paint and even painted on the markings using red pearl paint for the outlines to match the red anodized parts:

Yep, Sean at CCR Bike is awesome. He added a tiny bit of smoke to the clear on my carbon parts to add a little depth.
Now here's a picture of the painted on Italian flags Sean did on Anatra's tail. He even mixed up a little pearl green for them to go with the House of Kolor Razberry Red pearl:
He even did the rear tail markings in HOK Razberry pearl:

I am Italian. Grew up in an Italian "ghetto" in NJ just off the GW bridge. My advice is to avoid dealing in stereotypes and deal with the woman as a person. I'm not sure I'd want women (or anyone) treating me as an Italian or German (my father) man. I was married very young to an Irish woman (5 yrs) and then a German woman (25 yrs.) and I've been living with a Jewish (Polish) woman for the past 6 yrs. They are all individuals and have their up sides and down sides although the woman I live with now is without a doubt my soul mate. It wouldn't matter where her parents came from IMO.
