Ducati.MS Tag Game Poll
Should we get this out of the Ducati Chat section and start it's own section right here on the front page somewhere? I'm thinking perhaps we could then start some regional tag games that are more specific in area than the borders laid out in the regional section. We could start some European games, English games, Australian games, etc... have a place for maps, tag lists...all that.
Waddya think?

I think the tag game having its own section is fine. What I don't think would work very well is it being regional. I think it's more fun to see tags from other parts of our country as well as from other countries.

This is a "Wild Card" tag game, meaning we don't need to reproduce the exact airport Wonway posted, rather an airport near us. The tricky part of playing a "Wild card" type game is tagging something that everybody in the world can find.
The other way to play tag games are exact tags. I rode 315 miles Sunday to get an "Empire State Tag" for ADVrider, for example. On that site I'm also active in the "Adirondacks Tag-O-Rama", the "NYS Dirty Little" tag, the "Empire State Wild Card" tag, the "NYS Off Road Wild Card" tag, the "USA Tag"...On ADV we use Google Maps and a couple of folks in each game are tasked with keeping the map and tag list up to date which makes it easy(ish) to keep track of where it's been.
There can be more than one tag game all running at the same time, and you can go out with a list and make a day of getting multiple tags.
That was the idea of making a Tag section...all these games could be running concurrently...the Aussies can have their own tag game...there can be a Singapore Tag game...each state can have a game. Further, these games can be Exact Tag games, or Wild Card games like the one we play here...sky's the limit!

No...wait, let me be clear: HELL no. There will be Cat Herder's In Chief (CHIC's) assigned to every game...probably two or three.
Game Mods, Map Keepers...everyone's gonna be a Chief!

We can barely get those guys playing in the current game. What makes you think any regional games will get them playing?
I personally like it the way and where it is.

Heh...yeah, on the other hand this may not fly any better than the "Suspension and Tire Tech" section...
Maybe it would fly if we made a "Starbucks Tag" game for every state!
