Just picked up my crg arrow mirrors, they recommend mounting to bar ,i bought the barend adapters, where do most of you mount your bar ends?If they go on the bar you have to move controls inward does that hinder anything?

I've used the CRG mirrors on two SS/SP's, two 998s and an '05 SS1000DS and never had to relocate the controls. I just had to nip off the ends of the grips about 1/2" or so.

Rhino Moto sells bar ends that have a groove in them specifically for CRG mirrors. They also have replaceable Delrin tips.
