Paint costs?

On my s4rs the seat cowl is scuffed up from a lowside. I have been looking for a while on ebay to just replace it, but none have come up.
What would it run to just get mine repainted? Minor scuffing, but will need minor filler
I think a new one lists for $350 or so from the dealer. Is it even worth fixing, or just wait for an ebay one?

Ask the local dealer who they take their bikes to, then take the bike there and get a quote, you aren't obligated to have them repair the bike.

From pricing comparisons I've made, Florida pricing is a bit lower than over here in CA. Depending on your color, a seat cowl fix and repaint can run $100-$250 for just about any scheme you have. If the scuffing goes into the plastic, that would make it the higher end of that price for time spent on labor.

If you get an estimate, take the piece by itself and also have a spare piece for the shop to use for color matching.

I just had my wife's Street Triple tank repainted after it got scuffed from a tipover. Its a crazy metalflake bright green with a really thick clearcoat, and the scuff went all the way down to bare metal. The painter fixed it completely and color matched it 110%. No way I could have told the difference between a new factory tank.

Cost $320.
