Instead of everyone around the world trying to do it at 10:30 am Bologna time, the folks in NYC do it at 10:30 am Eastern Time, the folks in Denver do it at 10:30 am Mountain Time, and the folks in LA do it at 10:30 am Pacific Time.
Remember to move your clocks back an hour this Saturday night, though, if you're in the US.

I was worried about revving my bike at 2:30 AM. My neighbors would not be amused for 58 seconds.

Wonway, given the tragic nature of Simoncelli's death, its impact on the reputation of MotoGP, and the heartfelt pain of his loyal fans, you should demonstrate a little social conscience and start drinking an hour earlier.

It know it was tragic, but what would be more tragic is me waking up in the middle of the night and watching my own death as I rev my bikes up while my neighbors are sleeping.
If you are going to wait until your own time zone, well, then it just looses luster altogether. Do what you want, but I will just wish his family the best and keep him in my memories without needing some stupid action to make me feel better.
