Uh, it's leaded, no? And you like the smell ? I don't see the need for such high octane unless you have 14:1 compression or something! I prefer the lowest octane (fastest burning) fuel that won't pre-ignite in my motor (11:1 compression). However, if the smell is important to you, go for it!

NO Read the thread.. Unleaded….Unleaded 100 octane at the pump..For someone that is getting ready for a track day. This would be perfect.

I was told euro fuel is rated different…They use (i think 94 octane) however our 91 octane is the same…Ive never read anywhere to use 89…Can someone reference this. I would love to make more power and save fuel and pay less. shit who wouldn't.

From The Hall of Wisdom:
Fuel Octane
Hugh, cams should make no difference to the fuel used. Only if the heads have been milled and the compression raised.

Face the facts, first of all, it is a track day, not a race, second, it will NOT make you faster, third, it is more octane than your engine needs.
What's the point?

without tuning your motor for it, I doubt it will do any good.

Why do people think more octane equals more power from gasoline?
