Pandora's European Motorsports
I am a soldier (computer tech) currently deployed to Iraq and like most soldiers, have the hole being burnt into my pocket due to a year of not being able to (wisely) spend or save my money. I have been constantly checking forums, ebay.com, craigslist, cycletrader.com, etc etc etc for a Ducati and finally settled on a 2011 Streetfighter.
Ducati 2011 Streetfighter
Stuart, the sales associate handling my case, has been the most accommodating person I have ever dealt with when making a major purchase. For every minor issue I had, Stuart had a solution. I've been informed that my purchase has gone through without a hitch and offered to deliver my Streetfighter. When I asked what the delivery would cost, he responded saying there was no charge and that it was a normal part of their service to deliver X miles from the dealership. They also pickup based on where you are as well.
Seriously, I can't wait to get off the plane, receive my brief on not beating spouses, kids, drinking excessively, etc, and take off to the dealership for pickup. I won't be able to wait for a delivery. I'll be in my friend's car taking off to get a Ducati after so many freaking years of waiting.

Welcome home, and congratulations on the new toy.
Don't want to rain on your parade, but I presume that
a) you already have all your riding gear, or at least will not go riding until you are properly geared up, (just like in the miltary, plan for the worst, hope fo the best).
b) you are already an experienced rider, have the proper endorsements, and skill level for a SF
c) you will take it easy for a while, there are all kinds of concern about returnng military having too many motorcycle accidens (for whatever reason)

it would suck to survive the sand box to get nailed on a bike.

Congrats! And welcome home!
Take her easy for a while. It is easy to get in over your head on the Streetfighter.

@Winchester Boy: Sometime this month. Early next month at the latest.
@flynbulldog: That's a sick lookin' setup you have there. Where's that at?
@Chuckracer: Thanks dude.
@Tripod: No biggie dude. It's always nice to see other members showing concern for newer riders. Yes I have all of my riding gear with the proper endorsements and experience with riding.
@Wonway: No doubt. I'll definitely be taking it easy for awhile, especially with winter right around the corner.

Congratulations! Thanks for your service. Now be careful. Last thing you wanna do is get taken out on some Italian contraption after surviving the Middle East... =)
