Today i have been riding this!!
It's fantastic and I'm now a fan of the Diavel.....
I Love the power delivery and it feels great in the corners too...
It's very quick... I would say I have average riding ability and I have never ridden anything of this style before but it has loads of grin factor... It's much easier to ride than my 749r and very fun in the twisties...

Having never ridden the Diavel I will try: from my experience some cruisers are very easy to ride because of relaxed sitting position and it makes them easy to steer as well, like sitting on the couch playing video game.

I have warmed up to them quite a bit after the initial shock of seeing them. That's a sinister looking one there, very nice. I'm at the point where I would consider getting one, if I win a lottery that is, as it would never do as my only bike because its focus is far too narrow to keep my interest for too long, ie seems to have zero versatility.

I know of Mr. Ed, the talking horse. And now .... Putney, the typing, Diavel-riding dog. Did you have to relocate the footpegs?
Sorry, Putney, childish, I know, but couldn't resist.

A very sinister look indeed; not bad at all. I haven't warmed up to these bikes yet; even worse, when I saw my first one in the metal only a few weeks ago, I liked it even less than in pictures and I wonder whether I will ever start liking them.
It's probably just like the 999 (and 749) - I was shocked when I first saw one and not too pleased, but warmed up to the look very quickly. Love them ever since - dare I say even better than the 1098/848? Not that I own either .....

PS - like your S2K

I didn't like them at first but then I got to see a couple in person at a local dealer and sat on one. They're pretty big/wide but also surprising comfy. I'm curious though, are they stricktly a single seater or are they like the monsters and jave a cowl that goes over the passenger seat?

Strange. It looks like your dog hates it.
