My son's joining the fold
My eldest put a down payment on his first Duc today, makes a father proud. I meet him over in west Houston to check out a 2000 ST4, it is very clean (and very yellow) and only has 8900 miles on it. I don't understand, an 11 year old bike with only 9k on it, how is that possible? It's not in my world! He took it out for a test ride and came back grinning from ear to ear, so much for bargaining position. All the details should be worked out in the next week or so and he will be joining us. Hopefully he will get to join me on an East Coast Meet so that i can introduce him to you guys.

It may be dirty, but it's hard to wash while riding!

That's better than the 1998 Bimota DB3 that was on eBay a few weeks ago with only 356 miles. I know several people that ride less than 1000 miles per year. They mainly just ride to the store on a rare occasion or only go to bike nights. They really aren't riders.....then, again, you never know. The previous owner may have owned 10 bikes and only used the ST4 for an annual vacation pack mule and rode his/her other bikes all the time.
Cool about your son getting the bike. I have always felt that the ST bikes are grossly under-rated.

Nice!
I´m guessing he´s been riding awhile?
The St4 is a good first Duc in my book. Servicable 916 engine with enough punch and alot of parts availble.
Hope he enjoys the heck out of it!
