Brake fluid stains

Hey all,

some idiot (*whistles*) spilt some brake fluid while bleeding the front brakes on my 748, and despite my hurried efforts at flushing it away, now my instrument lenses have droplet stains on them. Can they be polished? Using what product?

Also there are some faint cloudy marks on my air intakes from the same incident. Is there any way to dye them back to black?

Cheers,

bj.

I have used plain old wax on the instruments with great results.
Not sure what to use on the runner though.

Bloody brake fluid. I got a drop on my seat and nothing has got ride of the mark! Hopefully on the instrument lens it's only on the surface and possible to polish off...

Try Meguiar's Scratch X 2.0

It works great on paint or plastic. I use it all the time on face shields, wind screens, etc.
