That reminds me of something. Eleven years ago when I was first diagnosed with kidney failure, I spent three weeks in the hospital, really sick and near dead.
This hospital had a dialysis clinic (obviously - that's why i was there). Three times a week they'd wheel me down there for a treatment and after the staff got us all set up and running, they would put in a Rod Stewart Greatest Hits tape and that thing would loop for four hours. You'd have loved it, Ricardo!
After a few treatments, one of the doctors was doing rounds and was in my room asking how things were going with dialysis. I told him it was going well, but that I have never before seen a group of people willingly listen to Rod Stewart in my life. He laughed.
The next time i was down there they were playing The Eagles Greatest Hits.
