MH, I'd let you take the GT around the block any day. One of the really cool things about these types of meets is just to look at and listen to the variety of machines that show up. (Too bad I don't see or hear too well!)

I think the test rides are gonna be kept to a minimum if any at all. MH maybe because he lives within arms reach if anything happens to it

Ok I don't consider myself old at 29 but I entirely agree! I've only had a couple people ask me, and I've managed to politely explain there's no way that's gonna happen, while in my head I am screaming "fuck no!"

Plus I find the friends that respect you and your bike enough know not to ask even though you would trust them with your bike. And the ones who ask are the ones you'd never trust with your bike!

^ None of that above opinion applies to MetalHead BTW, I knew he was joking. Plus I'd never smack talk anyones riding ability on here. I am a little over conservative, so I just presume ya'll can teach me a thing or two.

Like last year, I learned that you can't get target fixated on a big concrete planter!

Never done a big group ride like this. I'm not sure how good or bad I am at riding. I think I do ok, but I wanna be with the slow guys for this, because I have no idea.

I've got about 4 or 5 years of street riding, but this is going to be a test.
I AM apprehensive being in a group with lots of other bikes...I never do group rides, so any and ALL comments/suggestions will be welcome.

When are you coming down to the meet. If you want I'll ride with you. I don't try to go fast. There is something about heading into a blind corner that causes me to go slow.

I agree with MH the real fun is hanging out after riding.

Honestly the only peoples bikes I have ridden were riding mine @ the same time. One was my dad and the others were guys I have rode with for 5 years or more. I wouldn't be comfortable on someones bike that I wasn't really close friends with.
