Look...This has all just gotten out of hand. Yes he was serious when he asked about the helmet thing. It is foreign to us to not wear one but it is foreign to him to wear one. Most of us may have a different riding style from him but we share one thing in common, Ducati

I know plenty of guys that ride Harleys and whatnot that wish TN had no helmet law. Seeing as he came from a Diavel he was more related to that crowd so I can see why he would ask. But Rubber Duckie the 999 is designed to be ridden differently than your Busa or Diavel. It is best suited for canyon carving or track which would be best done with proper gear. Don't let them get to you so bad. Just come join in and ride some amazing roads. Just be careful out there.

I see shit happening on the road every day that makes me cringe. Honestly, some of the stuff people do while operating a vehicle and I'm sure they think that it doesn't matter at all, really frosts my cake, ya know what I mean? But, and let me be honest here, I mumble and grumble inside my helmet or mutter something to myself inside my cage and let it go at that. All I ask really, is don't hurt me or anyone else. What you do to yourself is your own business. I don't have to like it. You have the same option, OK?

Now, damn it, let's get back to planning a party in the N.C. mountains! It's one beautiful place on the planet and I'm ready for a good time. I'm bringing (with a little help from my friend) two (2) cases of local (to me) brewed beer. How about you?

I really want to make a quick trip this weekend to refresh myself since it's been a year or so since I've had a bike there. It is a lovely area that's for sure. If anybody in the group likes taking pics there is no shortage of scenery.

A couple of cases of Pacifico is on my list of things I must bring. May not be the best but I like it.
