Let me know if you need / want help with anything, Chuck. Don't really know what what that might be but I'll be there to lend a hand.
I'll be arriving late Wed , it's the best I could get this year (*). Leaving early Sun. Ya'll know when I hit the parking lot - the GT's Staintunes will be tick-tick-ticking while they COOL DOWN FROM THE NEARLY 400 MILE RIDE!
* 'Cause I'm going to be retired Sept 1, I don't get all that much vacation time off this summer!

it takes you 4 days to go 400 miles!
You need a radar detector.

You know, with so many new faces, maybe we should all wear name tags.

Well, since you let the cat out of the bag, the main reason we are taking pre-orders on the tshirts is because we are having names or the screennames of the person printed on the shirts. It will help identify each person and give a bit of uniqueness to the item. Dimitry is doing this free of charge, so make sure to thank him.

This is going to sound like a broken record but after wrestling with my girlfriend over money, family vacations, and MY priorities, I am coming to the ECM afterall. It will probably just be me as she doesn't have as much vacation time as I do. In an effort to help defray my costs, anyone along my route need a bike hauled out there that is willing to pay some of the fuel costs? Or care to split the cost of a room other than the Love Shack? Guess I need to order my T-shirt. Hey Duckman, I'll need to borrow your ramp or where you unload your bike.

Redpato! It's effin righteous that you've decided to make it, til you decide that you won't...but NHL that point,. We have an extra spot at THE LOOOOVESHACK for you... Unless you're scared of course.
One thought though... Wouldn't it be waaaay cheaper to just fly and then rent a bike? You're talking $1000's in gas money, plus vehicle wear, hotel etc, vs a $300 plane ticket and $100/day bike rental somewhere. I know it's not the same thing but shite!!

I think I'll take you up on the Love Shack offer since I just called Fontana and they're out of discounted rooms. PM me with details on how much and how to pay you my share. As for flying/renting, part of the trip is the time I get away from here. I enjoy driving and seeing parts of this wonderful country I wouldn't normally have an opportunity to do. Thanks Alex for the help. I'll arrive Friday late afternoon and leave Sunday morning.
