Whew! I was starting to worry. I know all the words to "The Love Shack" but I don't really like it. Is that the same thing?

Scooters are on the chopping block too, I knew it few month ago but year end numbers are a wake up call, income is down both me and missus: she had 2 pay cuts in past 10 month, my business down a bit too.
Expenses are up: just applied my 3 y.o. to some fancy pants pre-school, trying to come up with down payment....
I can always get another Duc, had fun bringing this one back from the dead, there will be another one some day. People pay shrinks for therapy and sit on the couch, I get my hands dirty!

Don't tell me you are falling for that?? I remember those days. You will be better of spending the time at home than working longer to pay for a fancy preschool.
Just sayin.

Not unless when you sing it you're bouncing around like Fred Schneider. Then I'd worry about you.

Here's the problem, the house is a boat anchor, thought we would sell and move but now we are stuck. Public schools around here are a joke, seriously, like worst in the country, so the options are private or charter. The schools that are easy to get in to cost more than Ivy League college (probably because of close proximity to one) Schools that are affordable are impossible to get in to, only way in is through Pre-School, and even that is a lottery. Besides we are spending almost as much on Day Care already, but for PS we would have to start paying in April and still pay for Day Care till September...
I have a new business plan this year, time to make some money!

That's awesome and what a cute little...... ummmmm, kid.
Reminds me of one of my Dads favorite stories he used to tell. He had just finished rebuilding the flat head motor in his car. All he had to do was put the plugs in and it was ready to go. He had gone in the house for something and when he returned my brother had taken his little play bucket and shovel and filled each cylinder neatly to the top with sand.
Alex, my dad would have probably agreed with you I'm sure. After that I'm surprised I was ever born.

After a recent bout with unemployment I feel your pain, I have been selling off parts from old projects left and right. Tools, and anything else I could find of value. I even stripped my bike of carbon fiber and some other bling . I figured if I had to sell it I wouldn't get anything for the bling anyway.
Cute kid, do what you must to give them a good education.
Oh, and don't believe that story Mike told you about his brother, we all know who pored the sand into that flathead!
