How about a Fall East Coast Meetup
In the south, at a Highland Games, with our kilts!

Boy, the thought of that could give all new meaning to wearing "all the gear all the time"!

Sounds great. May I suggest the Deals Gap area around Sept - Oct?
Yeah, I'm usually there anyway around spring and fall, but an army of ducks would make it that much more entertaining.
I don't own a kilt, but they don't come in leather anyway, do they?

Fall meet-up sounds cool. I'd like to go someplace other than Deals Gap though. There are plenty of great roads all along the BRP.

well, I know the coast ain't as twisty but, October is oyster season. Oyster roast are always on my list for fall.
And yea, how about somewhere like Little Switzerland or The Breaks, or Marlington WV, or Paint Bank, VA, or add to the list fellows....

little switzerland would be very cool. Another alternative might be the Vintage Days at Barber in October. There will be quite a few Ducatis there, our DOC is going and DNA is putting on some events.

Here's a vote for anywhere along the Blue Ridge Parkway, Va. or NC. The Gap can be kinda goofy sometimes, but I like it.

Are you kidding? Yes, I know you are, but:
As a real Scot, I know what a kilt is good for, and it's not motorcycling or apre-ride wear.
As for "The South" — One word: Chiggers etc.

See now, Robert, I think Wislon's kind of got both of us trumped on the whole "Scot heritage" thing.
I'd also vote for the Northeast rather than the South. Y'all got hurrikane's down in the bayou in October. We have orange and red leaves, clean air and crisp riding. Good time to be in the Northeast!
