Alistair's Britaliamoto "Supermono Strada" website
Alistair’s Supermono Strada website is up & running. Sign me up for your "International Supermono Club".

I was a huge fan of Ducati before I caught glance of Cycle World's September '93 Supermono on the Cover. I'm still dreaming of owning one, some day! Ducati is definitely a motivation for hardwork.

Thank you for the web address. I love that bike but I don't see it ever becoming a production bike. As I have said before, Ducati, I have the money, you have the bike?

Maxwell, Alistair makes those Supermono Stradas to order, using a 999 testastretta engine (minus one head & piston of course). I've seen the pre-production model a few times and the quality is superb: full carbon bodywork & top quality running gear. The lights look a bit funny in photo's but in the flesh they look fine.
It's expensive, but then again it's a made to order exotic special and you're not likely to see one at your local bike meet.

rob998, thank you for the answer. I appreciate it. If I remember correctly the price is about 50k in US dollars. That is above my price limit to say the least. I have seen many articles about Alistair and the super mono. The tank is a work of art as is the seat. I have also seen info on Ducatisti.Co.Uk. in the supermono section. I am jealous you had the opportunity to see one in person.
Again, thank you for the info.

This is a terrific bike, and it is pretty amazing the cooperation and material support that he got from Ducati in building it. But it is very, very expensive. Last time I looked the price was more like 50K pounds. Not cheap by any means.
I think the real bingo question lies in the number of these critters that have actually been sold.
Anybody out there know how many have been sold ?
