I dont do many bird photos, so lets try sunsets - sunset photos here
I will start off with tonight's:

You just opened the door for me to post thousands of sunset shots I have taken over the past three years.
For starters, here are some I took off Pt. Edwards on 8/3. I am looking west over the Edmonds marina across Puget Sound towards the Olympic Penninsula as the Edmonds-Kingston ferry goes by. The last shot is the setting sun reflecting off windows in town.

My favorite place to photograph local sunsets is the appropriately named Sunset Ave. On weekends at sunset time it will be lined with cars if the weather holds the promise of a beautiful sunset.
I like to include birds, boats, or trains in my sunset shots.

Tonight at the marina. No, the last two photos are not of Mt. St. Helens erupting again. This is a forest fire on the west side of the Olympic Mts. It may be in the Olympic National Park.

The smoke haze caused by the forest fire in the photos above created a very interesting sunset tonight. I caught a flock of gulls silhouetted in the setting sun. Guess which shots I call my "ET" shots?
