I caught a red-tailed hawk and its crow-tourage circling the marsh.

I recognize the bald eagle and osprey, but what was the bird in the third photo? A swallow?
Where were these taken?

The third is an Eastern Bluebird. The Osprey and the Bluebird were taken at a park near my home in the Twin Cities along the Mississippi River. The eagle was taken near the National Eagle Center in Winona, Minnesota. Great area for viewing eagles in the winter. There are literally hundreds, as they gather there because it is the only open water because of the warm water discharge from a power plant.

I expect to see lots of eagle shots from you on this thread next winter when you can't ride.

Was this taken at a zoo or do they walk around freely outdoors?

hahaha i could pull your legs and say yeah everybody has one in their backyard - they scare off the drop-bears.

but no, that was actually taken a established mining site about 2hrs flight northeast of perth, they are pretty coming in the bush and great scroungers and very inquisitive things - usually not vicious unless you spook one or accidently corner one, then yikes, a 6 foot pissed off hissing terror - kangeroo are more dangerous.
