S2000HD FUJI anyone?

Does anyone have any experience with one of these or other S series FUJI'S?

At face value they seem great, but would appreciate guidance, thanks!

Craig

I've got the S1500. Its very good. I bought it because I wanted a pseudo SLR, with control over the exposure but without the weight of a full size one. Theres only auto focus on mine, i'd prefer manual as well, but you can't have everything. For the price its excellent.

Its also robust enough to take out on the bike, mine went 2000 miles round Scotland with me last year and never complained.

Thanks, for your response, I first looked at the S1500, as I have previously had the earlier versions, so I am familiar with them, but all the reviews you read on them, by the so called experts, they say they are great, but in their conclusion they talk about purple bits on the outer part of the shots, because the lens is sub standard compared to other brands, but I have never experienced this, so I thought the S200OHD , might be a good alternative.
I can get them out of ASIA, for less than $300aud delivered.
What do you think?
Is there a better camera for the same money?

I've never had reason to complain about the lens. Its clear and sharp and theres no colour or flare right across the image.

I looked at a number of the FujiFilm range, but to be honest couldn't really see that any one was better than the rest. They all have one or two functions different to the others but they are all pretty much the same overall and they all cost a similar amount.
