AMA @ NJMP ThunderBolt 9/5/09 Pictures

Hi All,

this is the first time I post a thread in the Photography section.
I'm new into photography high speed action and loving it!
Below are a few shots taken last weekend at the AMA superbike pro race at ThunderBolt in NJ, mostly of turns 5 & 6.
Camera used: Canon EOS Rebel XTi
Lens: 70-300mm F4 to 5.6 IS USM EF
Levels have been slightly adjusted and cropped to 900x600px using Photoshop CS4.

It would be great to get your tips and feedback.

Here are some of the pics I got. I cropped the last 3 while I was playing around.

I shot them all with my Nikon D80 w/ 18-135 lens

The pics look pretty crappy all sized down....but you get the point.

How was the stunt show? Did you take pictures?
I missed it. (was there just between 3 & 5pm)

Thanks Kuoki and Bassphreek! Those are great shots indeed. I watched the races on Speed and Couldn's believe what a humbling experience it was to watch these guys tear the place apart and make it all look so easy! Thunderbolt is a great track and I am glad it finally got some deserved praise from all involved this past weekend

Fantastic event ! I worked as a corner worker for the AMA and it was a blast . Most of the riders really liked the layout and thought the track was tough to pass on, which is great to here, who wants and easy ride. We'll save that for the touring class..

Nice to see Jerz get some credit for something other then "what exit?"
