alternative to youtube video host?

After a search of this forum yielding no result, I'm asking the question; does anyone know of a site that preserves the quality better than youtube or vimeo?

I shot my first video with my gopro camera a couple of weekends back and was impressed with the quality for the buck. A lot of that is lost when uploaded to either of these hosts.

Here is a link to my post in the hyperforum with a link to both hosts
"Looking for Gription" GoPro Test

Thanks for any input.

I just put up a test video on my photobucket account, and the quality is better than the youtube quality.
I still have play around with my software to get a larger file. This one is at 640x480 resolution, but it gives you an idea.

Based on Swanny338's post in this thread it looks like this a great site for HD video:

You will find both vimeo and youtube links to this same video in the first post. This version http://www.kapitalmototv.co.uk/play-192-0.html is very generously hosted on a site run by a fellow ducati.ms member. Thanks so much and please step forward and claim credit if you like. I will not give you up since you PM'd me with your offer.

I think the smaller version is as good as the raw footage and superior to both vimeo and "youtube in HQ". I have not signed up for vimeo plus and do not know how much better the 5 megapixel GoPro camera footage would look in HQ.

Your VW project, the bevel and rubber band classic look great IN2VWs! I think you have a much better camera than the GoPro.

Here is one I shot Sunday. It looks decent if you watch in HQ. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vaj5hW3MXVE
