2008 INDY MotoGP and Hurricane IKE

Here's an interesting and depressing photo from the 2008 MotoGP at Indy. During the weekend, the Ducati Island was located in front of the Museum. Half way through the race, what was left of Hurricane Ike hit the track with 70 plus mile per hour winds. In the photo, a Ducati ST with a cover blew over taking down the row. I was fortunately under cover in turn one and my ST3 was safely parked across the street.

This is even uglier. Here's a photo taken after Buell went out of business at an HD dealer. Like or hate them, it's still a sad photo and a waste of resources. Why they weren't sold is unknown to me.
