Old Nuclear Blast Photos

Interesting photos and reading. Caution: Do not attempt at home.

Nuclear explosion captured one ten-millionth of a second after detonation is a warped, 100ft skull | Mail Online

Fascinating. I'm amazed at the ability to capture it.

The concept of setting off a device that instantly snuffs out hundreds of thousands or more human lives is obscene. As is all war.

None of which changes the harsh reality of the world. Nor the fact that any perceived weakness makes one more likely to be a target of the bullies that exist, locally and internationally. Nor the fact that if something can be made it will be made.

Most of us wish it were otherwise but we still need the police and the military. And strong and capable ones at that.

(sigh)

The photo though is fascinating. The creation of a star.

We are all STARDUST.
Amazing ...
Got to love them THINKERS.

When I was young there were Protests at the Blue Water Bridge (I believe) Bikini Island related...I didn't understand but even Mom thought it was OK to protest...

Scared a lot of people

Just the means with early high speed cameras (Rotating prisms etc.) to capture such events...

One HOPES we learn for the BETTER...
