I made a cross-US trip om my ST a few years back and brought along my little digital Elph for color shots and my EOS-1 for IR B&W. Keeping the camera cool in the tankbag to prevent any fogging was something of a challenge in the US summer and I have a lot of kind waitresses to thank for providing me with ice when my gel pack was giving in

Anyway, I've finally gotten around to scanning the negatives and thought I'd share a few. The film used was Kodak high speed Infrared and is no longer being manufactured. I used a dark red filter - I can't remember the number offhand, but it wasn't the opaque one so it was ok to shoot handheld. I've heard good things about the Rollei 35mm IR so I'll order some next week.
This is the battlefield at Little Bighorn
7th Cavalry cemetery
Memorial obelisk at the site
And a bit further east, a tree in Kentucky
I have more and if you're interested, I'll post them up.
