Bill, you are either too kind or have a wicked sense of humor.

Just been too, too busy. I stop in from time to time to admire the posted pix but have had little time to much much else.

The record project I mentioned in an earlier posting has been taking a fair amount to my free time. Working with other band members we had to put together some historical profiles. And things that would seem simple -- questions about who produced which recordings for instance -- proved very challenging at a distance of 45 plus years.

Then came the mastering process -- being done in Germany. I had to coordinate getting the very best source materials which in some cases meant listening to hours of recorded material.

For all that it is proving very satisfying. I received the first generation masters on Saturday and spent some hours critically listening to them on several fine sound systems. To say that I am thrilled with what the engineers have done is an understatement.

Anyhow the project should we winding to an end in the next 4 to 6 weeks. Review and approval of the liner notes (including that multi-page history), then approval of the jacket design, etc., then... rest.

Anyhow, life is good! And I'm always thrilled at opportunities to chime in here as opportunity affords.

Cheers!

Congratulations on your album project going so well. Isn't there an award in the music industry for come-back artists of the year?

I don't know about any awards, but our old fans are having as much with this as we are. And it is amazing how they are starting to find us! But the music of our teens stays with us forever and The Abstracts apparently were a big part of more than a few people's lives. (And that, perhaps as much as anything, is why this is so much fun.)

BTW, if anyone is interested, we've created an open to all Facebook page for folks to get the latest on our coming record and anything else that follows.

Nice when it comes back to yah..

As a Teen there was a outdoor concert hall in our little resort community..
Kenwick On The Lake , Bright's Grove
Louis Armstrong Duke Ellington , Count Bassie ,played there along with Ted Nugent, The MC5 Alice Cooper ...(not at the same time!!)
they had dances with live Music in the late 60s...I was about 15 years old...
Some of the bands were ,The Juggernaught and , The Chosen Few... as I remember ,
They had a festival that went bust , weather was the cause, and an anappreciative neighbourhood...

The Good Times...
Good Luck Don....

I like to say that I donated it to a worthy cause: Living!

Along with my hearing btw - to loud motorcycles, louder firearms and yet louder guitar amps!

Fortunately the rest is still working.

(For now)

Unhappy

Now that DUCeditor has a new guitar, we are never going to see him back in the Photo Forum.
