Very nice photos! Looks like you were doing time exposures of about 5 seconds?
Steady tripod and time exposure seem to be the way to go for these when I do them. Years ago I did some with a 4x5 view camera that are pretty stunning to look at still.

yes. the 5 second ones tended to look best although I also tried some at 4, 8 and 10 sec too.

a tripod and a delayed exposure so there was no giggling from pushing the shutter release button (that could be fixed with a remote release though)
