Boeing 747-8 Test - Ducati.ms

I live where the old Mather AFB used to be and the runway is used for cargo companies, private jets and a lot of training by Navy and other groups. We looked out the window Saturday morning and saw this plane doing some very cool testing so I grabbed the camera and took a few photos. The local news used them in a story for the 6pm and 10pm broadcast.

Scott: When I worked for the Sacrtamento County Health Dept., our offices were on Bradshaw Rd. next to Mather AFB.

Up here, I will sometimes get a shot of a Boeing 787 on a test flight over Puget Sound. They are being built in Everett, which is just a few miles north of me.

Here is one flying south over Puget Sound on 4-28-11.
